He brings more than thirteen years of experience in administrative and regulatory law, a background that gives him a practical understanding of how agencies evaluate evidence, apply regulations, and make decisions that can have life-changing consequences. That experience is especially valuable in Veterans law, where strong advocacy often depends on understanding not only the facts of a case, but also the procedural and regulatory framework that governs how claims are reviewed, denied, and appealed. Andrew’s day-to-day work centers on reviewing client files, identifying appealable issues, and building clear, persuasive arguments designed to help Veterans move their cases forward.

At Berry Law, Andrew applies his administrative law background to help Veterans navigate a system that can feel technical, slow, and difficult to challenge without informed counsel. Service to Veterans

Andrew’s commitment to this work is rooted in a strong sense of service and respect for those who wore the uniform. Although he did not serve in the military, both of his grandfathers served, and that family connection helped shape the perspective he brings to representing former service members. He has said that Veterans have sacrificed a great deal in service to the country and that it is now our turn to serve them. That belief informs the way he approaches his practice: with seriousness, gratitude, and a recognition that a disability appeal is never just a file on a desk. For many clients, it is tied to financial stability, access to treatment, family security, and acknowledgment of what military service cost them. Andrew’s work is aimed at helping clients navigate that process with clear guidance and diligent advocacy.

Experience, Education & Background

Before joining Berry Law, Andrew served as an Appeals Referee for the State of Missouri, a role that gave him a valuable behind-the-bench perspective on how administrative decisions are made and evaluated. Having spent years assessing cases from a neutral standpoint, he now uses that knowledge to strengthen the appeals he prepares on behalf of his clients.

He earned both his bachelor’s degree and his law degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, building the academic foundation for a career focused on regulatory systems, legal analysis, and written advocacy. Based in Kansas City, Andrew continues to build his practice around thoughtful case review, strategic appeals work, and service to Veterans. Outside of work, he enjoys running and spending time with his Great Dane, Tina.
