Angela St. Pierre is a VA Accredited Attorney based in Washington, D.C., specializing in complex litigation and disability claims. Angela serves Berry Law as a Veterans Disability Attorney representing Veterans and their families in every step of the VA process, from the Department of Veteran Affairs to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Angela is recognized for her client-centered practice and precision in ensuring her clients’ goals are met with accuracy and purpose. Before joining Berry Law, Angela practiced primarily before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, representing government executives in federal employment litigation matters. She also assisted in matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
At Berry Law, Angela aggressively advocates for Veterans with disability claims and appeals. She believes Veterans and their families should not be left behind and abandoned by the systems meant to support them.
Angela works closely with her colleagues to develop thoughtful legal strategies and approaches each case with the understanding that careful advocacy will materially affect a Veteran’s life and family stability.
During her undergraduate studies, Angela researched the ways war affects children, soldiers, families, and civilian populations. Her time researching in Sri Lanka gave her the opportunity to witness firsthand the lasting effects of conflict on a country and its people. These experiences inspired a lifelong commitment to helping those affected by crisis.
Angela earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she represented clients through the Immigrant Justice Clinic in naturalization, bond, asylum, and appellate matters. She also served detained immigrants nationwide through the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration, and advocated for migrant farmworkers in Vermont.
Angela’s roots are planted in Northern Vermont, where she grew up on a dairy farm milking cows and making maple syrup. Her upbringing instilled a strong work ethic, resilience, and a deep sense of community and family—values she sees reflected in her Veterans she proudly serves. Outside of her legal work, Angela seeks opportunities to help people and animals in her community. In her free time, she enjoys getting out of the city, spending time with her family and her dog, Asha, planting flowers, and enjoying the Green Mountain State she calls home.
