About Jared
Practice Focus

Jared Roland is a Veterans Disability Attorney at Berry Law who brings disciplined, detail-driven advocacy to claims and appeals on behalf of former service members. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, he focuses on helping Veterans pursue the benefits they earned through service and approaches each matter with a careful, evidence-based mindset. Jared’s work is grounded in the belief that strong advocacy requires both precision and purpose. He is committed to building cases thoughtfully, analyzing records closely, and ensuring that clients receive clear, professional representation throughout the legal process.

Role at Berry Law

Since joining Berry Law, Jared has focused on serving Veterans through a practice centered on careful legal analysis and meaningful client impact. He is motivated by the opportunity to give back to people who sacrificed so much for others, and that belief shapes the energy and seriousness he brings to his work every day. Jared’s practice reflects a methodical approach: he works through records thoroughly, develops claims with an eye toward the evidence that matters most, and aims to provide Veterans with the highest level of professional representation.

His experience before joining Berry Law also contributes to the way he serves clients now. After graduating from law school, Jared worked as a felony prosecutor for the State of Nebraska, where he gained valuable courtroom and advocacy experience while representing victims. That background strengthened his ability to develop facts carefully, present arguments clearly, and handle high stakes matters with discipline. At Berry Law, he applies those same skills to the VA disability process, helping ensure the agency recognizes the full extent of the benefits his clients have earned.

Service to Veterans

Although Jared is not a Veteran himself, military service is an important part of his family history. His grandfather served as a Lieutenant General in the U.S. Air Force and flew combat missions during the Vietnam War, an experience that instilled in Jared a lifelong respect for military service. That family connection informs the seriousness with which he approaches this work and reinforces his belief that Veterans deserve exceptional representation when they turn to the VA for support.

Jared has described his commitment to serving Veterans as both personal and practical. He sees Veterans’ disability advocacy as a way to give back to those who have already given so much. His work is focused not simply on navigating a system, but on helping ensure that Veterans receive the recognition and compensation they are entitled to under the law.

Background & Interests

This strong academic foundation supports the rigorous and intellectually precise approach he brings to legal practice. Outside of work, Jared is deeply interested in fitness and health and enjoys cooking new recipes, strength training, lifting, cardio, and following sports. He brings that same energy, focus, and discipline to his advocacy on behalf of Berry Law’s clients.
