Noah Marik is a Veterans Disability Attorney at Berry Law who focuses on helping former service members navigate the VA disability process and pursue the benefits they earned through military service. Based in Omaha, he brings a client-centered, communication-driven approach to a practice area that often feels confusing and adversarial to the people it is meant to serve. Noah spends his days meeting with clients, addressing fears about VA actions, helping connect in-service injuries to compensable conditions, and ensuring that Veterans have a knowledgeable and friendly advocate on their side throughout the claims and appeals process.

At Berry Law, Noah is committed to delivering both strong results and an outstanding client experience. He believes clients deserve to have their stories heard, their questions answered, and their concerns addressed with patience and clarity. His practice is grounded in the understanding that the VA disability process can be intimidating, particularly for individuals who feel overwhelmed by denials, delays, or unfamiliar legal requirements. Noah works to provide a reliable and positive counterbalance to that experience, combining diligent advocacy with steady client support.

In the time he has spent at Berry Law, Noah has seen firsthand how disability compensation can affect not only the Veteran, but the entire family. One especially meaningful result involved helping a client increase a disability rating from 10% to 100%. That outcome allowed the client to use disability compensation to support a daughter’s college education, an opportunity the family had not been sure they could afford. For Noah, that case illustrated the broader impact of this work. A successful claim can create stability, open doors, and finance futures in ways that reach far beyond the immediate award.

Service to Veterans

Although Noah is not a Veteran himself, military service has shaped his perspective through family experience. He has multiple family members who served, including a stepfather who served in Iraq. That connection, together with his professional experiences, deepened his understanding of the challenges Veterans often face after service. During law school, Noah worked in the Housing Justice Clinic, where he supported individuals facing uncertain housing futures and evictions. In that role, he helped multiple Veterans and gained an appreciation for the ways military service can continue to affect civilian life long after discharge.

Those experiences reinforced his desire to use the law to help individuals and ultimately led him to Veterans disability advocacy. Noah has said that Berry Law allows him to ensure those who served are supported when they return—work he sees as part of the country’s continuing duty to service members. That sense of responsibility informs the empathy and persistence he brings to every case.

Background & Interests

As part of the Nebraska at Oxford program, he also studied abroad at Oxford University. He is also the author of Cohen and Milstein Strategic Analysis.

Outside of work, Noah is an avid soccer player and referee, a marathon runner, and a passionate supporter of Nebraska sports. He enjoys baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with his two cats, Maple and Louis. His personal motto, “Energy and persistence conquer all things,” reflects the same determination and steadiness he brings to his advocacy on behalf of Berry Law’s clients.
