Rachel Collins is a Personal Injury Attorney at Berry Law whose practice is grounded in the belief that strong results begin with a consistently high-quality and personalized client experience. She represents plaintiffs in a range of personal injury matters, including catastrophic motor vehicle accident cases, trucking accidents, dog attacks, premises liability claims, and other serious injury matters in which a client’s health, financial stability, and future may be at stake. Rachel combines nearly two decades of civil practice experience with a disciplined, client-centered approach that emphasizes listening carefully, understanding each client’s goals, and advocating relentlessly for the best possible outcome. Her work reflects the view that legal representation in injury cases is not only about technical skill, but also about clarity, responsiveness, and helping clients feel supported through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Rachel’s background gives her a particularly strong foundation for personal injury work. Before joining Berry Law, she obtained extensive experience in personal injury law and insurance litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex disputes involving both underlying injuries and the insurance issues that can complicate recovery. That experience taught her how to evaluate claims from both a factual and strategic perspective, identify the issues most likely to affect value and liability, and keep client needs at the center of the case as it develops. She is known for taking the time to understand what matters most to the people she represents and for pursuing each matter with determination and careful preparation. She now devotes her entire practice to representing injured plaintiffs.
At Berry Law, Rachel brings that same focus on client care, continued learning, and professional excellence to a firm environment she believes is built to grow, succeed, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients. She has said that Berry Law’s emphasis on client experience and its commitment to striving to be the best are a major part of what drew her to the firm. That outlook aligns naturally with her own professional values. In a personal injury practice, where clients are often dealing with pain, uncertainty, financial strain, and significant life disruption, Rachel approaches advocacy as both a legal and human responsibility. She works to ensure that each client feels heard, informed, and confidently represented from the beginning of the case through resolution.
Rachel also brings valuable appellate and legal writing experience to her practice. She served as a briefing attorney for the 14th Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas, where she researched both civil and criminal matters and assisted in drafting judicial opinions. That role strengthened her legal analysis, sharpened her written advocacy, and gave her deeper insight into how courts evaluate legal arguments and factual records. For clients, that experience adds another dimension to her practice: an attorney who not only understands litigation strategy but also appreciates how judges analyze complex issues on review. From there, she worked at an Am Law 100 firm before transitioning to in-house insurance defense work. After several years of litigation experience on the defense side, Rachel made the career decision to switch sides and now solely represents injured plaintiffs.
Rachel’s commitment to Berry Law’s broader mission is equally clear. She has described herself as honored to join a team dedicated to Veterans while also providing the best representation possible for all clients. Although her practice focus is personal injury, that statement reflects an appreciation for service, professionalism, and the importance of being part of an organization that is mission-driven as well as results-oriented.
During law school, she served as an editor of the Texas Tech Journal of Texas Administrative Law, was a member of the Order of the Barrister in 2007 and served as Director of Coaching for the Board of Barristers. Those distinctions reflect both academic excellence and a longstanding commitment to advocacy and legal writing.
Her professional accomplishments have also been recognized outside the courtroom. Rachel received the Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion Platinum distinction in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 as well as Martindale-Hubbell Peer Reviewed recognition in 2025. Rachel is a member of the Military Spouse JD Network Foundation. In addition, she contributed to the legal profession through published commentary on injury-related issues, including Personal Injury: Navigating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Claims in Nebraska Injury Cases, published in The Nebraska Lawyer in September 2023. Taken together, Rachel’s litigation background, appellate experience, professional recognitions, and client-focused approach position her as a thoughtful and effective advocate for individuals navigating serious personal injury claims.
