About Tymber
Practice Focus

Tymber W. Long is a Personal Injury Attorney at Berry Law who focuses on helping injured clients recover the compensation they are rightfully owed after life-disrupting accidents. Her practice includes representing plaintiffs in a wide range of negligence matters, including car wrecks, trucking wrecks, motorcycle wrecks, dog bites, slip-and-fall and trip-and-fall incidents, contaminated food cases, and injuries caused by falling objects or objects in disrepair. Across these matters, Tymber is known for a direct, determined approach and a clear commitment to protecting clients from being taken advantage of by insurance companies at a time when they are already dealing with pain, uncertainty, and financial stress.

Tymber has substantial plaintiff-side experience and has represented hundreds of injured clients. She approaches each case with the understanding that many people feel outmatched when they are forced to deal with large insurance companies and unfamiliar legal processes while also trying to recover from serious injuries. That reality shapes her work. She focuses on building strong claims, pressing for full and fair compensation, and making sure clients understand their options throughout the process. In her view, effective personal injury representation requires both legal skill and the willingness to stand firm when an insurer tries to minimize what a client has lost.

Role at Berry Law

At Berry Law, Tymber represents people who need an advocate prepared to fight for accountability after another person’s negligence has caused harm. She is motivated by the belief that injured clients should not have to face powerful insurance companies or corporations alone, especially when they are already coping with the physical, emotional, and financial consequences of an accident. She has said that one of the reasons she does this work is because it is easy for injured people to feel powerless in the face of large insurance carriers, and she wants to make sure her clients are not taken advantage of in addition to being hurt.

That mindset fits naturally with her practice at Berry Law, where client advocacy, responsiveness, and results matter. Tymber brings a disciplined, strategic style to personal injury work, along with the perspective of someone whose education and professional background extend beyond traditional litigation alone. Her experience across business, law, and compliance contributes to an approach that is practical, analytical, and focused on real-world outcomes for clients and families.

Background & Interests

She also holds a Certificate in Hospitality, Tourism, and Gaming Law from American University Washington College of Law.

During law school, Tymber served on the staff of the Washburn Law Journal, participated in student government, and worked as both a teaching and research assistant for agricultural law, business law, and legal writing courses. In addition to her work at Berry Law, she is also a bar exam preparation instructor for Themis Bar Review and an adjunct economics professor at Friends University. Those roles reflect not only subject-matter knowledge, but also an ability to teach complex concepts clearly—an important strength when guiding clients through difficult legal issues.

Tymber’s commitment to service also extends into the community. She is a lifetime auxiliary member of Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion, volunteers with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and serves as a volunteer judge for high school DECA business competitions. Her professional affiliations include the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, Junior League of Wichita, Phi Sigma Sigma Alumnae, and Phi Alpha Delta Alumnae. Her work has also been recognized through honors including The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Attorneys in 2024 and the Wichita Business Journal’s Women Who Lead in Legal Services in 2022.

Outside of work, Tymber’s roots remain closely tied to the Midwest. That combination of local connection and broad experience informs the perspective she brings to her clients today: disciplined, practical, informed, and ready to fight for people whose lives have been changed by preventable injuries.
